“Be still, and know that I am God.
        I will be exalted among the nations,
        I will be exalted in the earth!”
(Psalm 46:10 ESV)

In this verse, we see rest and worship. The two fit together well. God commands Sabbath; God models Sabbath. Sabbath is simply stopping, resting, celebrating, and enjoying God, while you fight idols like busyness, control, connectedness. As part of our last-Sunday-of-every-month “scattered worship,” The City Church pauses several times each year to Sabbath.
